Personalized Psychiatric Assessments and Medication Management Across 10 Licensed States

What ages do you treat?

We provide care for children (age 5+), adolescents, and adults.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes. Please contact our office or visit the Insurance & Payment section for a list of accepted plans. We also offer private-pay options.

What happens at the first visit?

Your initial evaluation is a comprehensive assessment of your mental health. We’ll discuss symptoms, history, and treatment goals. A personalized care plan is developed, which may include therapy, medication, or both.

What happens during my first psychiatric appointment?

During your initial psychiatric evaluation, your provider will review your symptoms, mental health history, medical history, medications, previous treatment, and treatment goals. This information is used to develop an individualized treatment plan and determine appropriate next steps.

How often are follow-up visits?

Follow-up frequency depends on your needs. Most clients are seen every 4–6 weeks for medication management.

What happens if I am late or miss my appointment?

We provide a 15-minute grace period for scheduled appointments. If you are more than 15 minutes late, your appointment may need to be rescheduled. A $75 missed-appointment fee applies to missed appointments.

Can psychiatric medications be prescribed through telehealth?

Yes. When clinically appropriate, a psychiatric provider may prescribe medication as part of an individualized treatment plan. Prescriptions can be sent electronically to the patient’s preferred pharmacy. Medication decisions are based on the clinical evaluation, medical history, applicable federal and state requirements, and the provider’s clinical judgment. An appointment does not guarantee that a particular medication will be prescribed.

Do you provide care throughout the entire state?

Yes. In states where Choice Behavioral Health Network currently provides telehealth services, eligible patients may attend appointments virtually from their location within that state.

What if I’m in crisis?

If you are experiencing an emergency, please call 911 or dial 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).
